Dr. Henry Swoboda

 

Dr. Henry Swoboda, MD is board certified and clinically active in Medical Toxicology, Addiction Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, and is also a certified medical review officer (MRO). He is currently licensed to practice medicine in Illinois and practices in Chicago. Dr. Swoboda completed Medical Toxicology fellowship at the Toxikon Consortium in Chicago and subsequently became an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry of Rush Medical College; working as an emergency department physician, Director of Medical Toxicology, Director of the Substance Use Intervention Team Consult Service and Clinic, core faculty in the Rush Emergency Medicine Residency, and faculty in the Rush Addiction Medicine Fellowship. He is affiliated with Rush University Medical Center, John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, and the Illinois Poison Center.
