Dr. Jeffery Johnson Brief Biography of Jeffrey T. Johnson DO ABFM ABAM FASAM Dr. Johnson is the Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services of Central DuPage Hospital/Northwestern Medicine, Winfield, IL., and a
member of the ISAM board. He has practiced Addiction Medicine for over 20 years and was in the first classes certified for both the ASAM and ABAM certifications.
He was in the first class of physicians trained and wavered to
prescribe Buprenorphine. He is actively training Nurses and
Physicians in treatment of inpatient and outpatient Substance Use Disorders. He is an investigator on new applications of drugs for Alcohol and Opioid Use disorders. He has served on the Board of Health Chicago HMO and in leadership of Church and Community organizations.
