Kira Reich

Dr. Kira Reich is a board-certified Addiction Medicine and Internal Medicine physician at Carle Health in Champaign, IL, where she provides both inpatient and outpatient addiction care. She also serves as a faculty member for the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

Dr. Reich obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, where she went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine.  Seeing the lack of treatment resources available to many patients with substance use disorders, this motivated her to complete a fellowship in Addiction Medicine through Baptist Memorial Healthcare, also in Memphis, TN.

She currently practices in central IL with a focus on providing addiction medicine education for the next generation of physicians and APPs. She has the privilege of working with medical students, residents from multiple specialties, and Primary Care APP fellows. She is committed to advancing educational opportunities to help ensure that patients with substance use disorders receive compassionate, evidence-based treatment at every point of contact within the healthcare system.
