Judith Sheldon is a board-certified and licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience providing exceptional, compassionate, and evidence-based care to her patients.

 

She obtained her Associate of Science degree in nursing in 1992 from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2001 and her Master of Science degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 from Olivet Nazarene University, and later received certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of St. Francis. She is also a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice.

 

Judy has extensive experience in a variety of healthcare settings, such as critical care, trauma care, and substance use disorder treatment centers. She currently works in outpatient psychiatry and substance use disorder treatment. She focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for her patients. She feels privileged to work with ISAM.
